I would have classed this shirt as being in excellent condition, however the sizing label on the inside of the shirt has worn away, and there are some very minor holes at the back of the shirt.
DIMENSIONS:
Size: Large
Pit to Pit Measurement: 22 inches
Shirt Length: 31.5 inches
As were most Adidas ‘ClimaCool’ shirts from that era, this shirt is generously fitted, and would easily fit a size XL.
DESCRIPTION:
Ahead of Spain announcing themselves as the finest national side on the continent, Adidas produced a fine shirt for ‘La Roja’ to exhibit during their successful European Championship tournament in the summer of 2008. As if they were telling us an omen; Adidas complimented the traditional fiery red with a golden trim, and 3 stripes, as if it announced that Spain were to be the champions at that summers tournament. Furthermore, fans of the national side will also remember this shirt as it was worn during fine wins over: Italy, France, Sweden, Greece, Russia, Germany, and England during 2007 to 2009, in what was the late Luis Aragones final stand as the Spanish head coach.
The notable players that season(s) were:
Fernando Torres, David Villa, Daniel Guiza, Fernando Llorente, David Silva, Cesc Fabregas, Santi Cazorla, Andres Iniesta, Xavi, Ruben de la Red, Marcos Senna, David Albelda, Xabi Alonso, Sergio Ramos, Carles Puyol, Carlos Marchena, Joan Capdevila, Raul Albiol, Alvaro Arebloa, Iker Casilas, Pepe Reina
