DESCRIPTION:

The ‘Zinfandel’ away shirt that Manchester City utilised for the 2012-13 was a left field choice to say the least, but one that remains in that heart of Manchester City fans. This was the shirt worn by ‘the Citizens’ during 2 of their 3 wins over Chelsea. This was in addition to away victories against West Bromwich Albion, Fulham and Wigan. Furthermore, this was the last season that Umbro produced the kits for Manchester City, before transitioning to Nike ahead of the 2013-14 campaign. As well as being the last shirt Umbro produced for the club, this would be the last jersey to be worn by the likes of: Carlos Tevez, Mario Balotelli, Kolo Toure and Gareth Barry; 4 of the major signings of the early years of the Sheikh Mansour reign.
