2014-15 Liverpool Home Shirt Size Medium - Sterling #31
THE VITALS:
Team: Liverpool
Brand: Warrior
Era: 2014-15 (Used for the 2014-15 Premier League season)
Name/Number: Sterling #31
CONDITION: EXCELLENT
Condition wise, the shirt is fantastic, with the condition looking almost like new. The embroidery, decal, and name and numbering print are in superb nick, however the coup de gras has got to be the LFC hologram which has been embedded into the material of the shirt.
DIMENSIONS:
Size: Medium
Pit to Pit Measurement: 21 inches
Shirt Length: 27.75 inches
Unlike the more fitted efforts by Warrior made in the 2 previous season’s; this shirt was notoriously baggy, and that is reflected by the dimensions, and resultantly, I believe this could fit a size large.
DESCRIPTION:
After coming so close to winning the Premier League title in the 2013-14 season, Liverpool and Brendan Rodgers would have to pick themselves back up from their boot straps without Luis Suarez ahead of the 2014-15 season. Rebuilding the side with the £80 million recouped from the sale of the Uruguayan; some 8 players were brought, all with differing degrees of success in what was a frustrating season for ‘the Reds’. In their 3rd and final offering as Liverpool’s kit manufacturer; American kit supplier: Warrior chose to implement white slashes and white trims to the classic red backdrop.
The notable players that season were:
Mario Balotelli, Daniel Sturridge, Fabio Borini, Rickie Lambert, Raheem Sterling, Philippe Coutinho, Steven Gerrard, Adam Lallana, Jordan Henderson, Joe Allen, Emre Can, Lucas Leiva, Martin Skrtl, Kolo Toure, Mamadou Sakho, Dejan Lovren, Jose Enrique, Glen Johnson, Alberto Moreno, Simon Mingolet
