2014-15 Benfica Home Shirt Size Small
Era: 2014-15 (Used for the 2014 Supertaca Candido de Oliveira, 2014-15 Primeira Liga season and the 2015 Taca de Liga Final)
Although this shirt may be a factory error with respect to the alignment of the crest and the Adidas logo, however the condition of the crest, material, and respective sponsors are nothing short of immaculate.
Pit to Pit Measurement: 19 inches
Shirt Length: 27 inches
Made in the mould of the 2014-15 Adidas ‘ClimaCool’ range; these dimensions lend themselves to an excellent size small fitting shirt.
After the previous season’s effort featured black as the supplementary colour to the classic red; Adidas kept this shirt as predominantly red as possible, with just the Adidas 3-stripes, and respective sponsors adding white to the strip. The other standout feature is the cross that the club crest proudly sits in the middle of! While Jorge Jesus’ side would disappointingly crash out of the Champions League at the group stages, following their back to back Europa League Final appearances in the previous 2 seasons; the club would successfully retain the Premeira Liga title since the 1980’s, as well retain their Taca de Liga trophy, and capture the Supertaca Candido de Oliveira. The arrival of Jonas was particularly inspired as the Brazilian netted 31 times in his debut season for the club!
The notable players that season were:
Lima, Jonas, Goncalo Guedes, Derley, Bebe, Nico Gaitan, Andreas Samaris, Salvio, Pizzi, Bryan Cristante, Talisca, Enzo Perez, Ruben Amorim, Ljubomir Fejsa, Ola John, Andre Almeida, Luisao, Lisandro Lopez, Victor Lindelof, Eliseu, Jardel, Maxi Pereira, Artur, Julio Cesar
