Made in the second series of Nike Dri-Fit shirts which returned in 2010; these shirts are not as fitted as the recent versions and consequently this shirt would also fit a size large.
Nike would re-introduce black accents to Holland’s home shirt ahead of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa; interestingly, black was last used to compliment the classic ’Oranje’ back in 2002 when the Dutch failed to make the tournament! Some 8 years later, The Netherlands would find themselves in a World Cup final, only to be beaten 1-0 in extra time by Spain. This shirt would also be complimented by a white trim down the side panels of the body.
