Please be mindful that the first Nike ‘Dri-Fit’ shirts that were re-introduced ahead of the 2010-11 season do run a bit looser than the later season editions, and as such, fits as a conventional medium fitting shirt.
For the first time since the 2005-06 season, Nike opted to go with red shorts, and the switch worked a charm once more, as Barca’ romped to both: La Liga, and Champions League, just as they did back in 2005-06. Contrasting from the previous season, Nike restored thicker stripes, while using a classic hoop neck collar for the first time since that very season. Utilising more yellow than previous shirts, the collar is a thick yellow, while the sleeves have yellow trim; all in all creating a fine combination. This shirt will always remain long in the memory of Barca fans as it was worn in the famous 5-0 destruction of Real Madrid at the Camp Nou, as well as huge wins in Europe over: Arsenal, Real Madrid (at the Santiago Bernabeu no less), and of course at Wembley where they defeated Manchester United 3-1 to win the 2010/11 UEFA Champions League title!
