DESCRIPTION:
With Lionel Messi blessed with the number 10 shirt, and Diego Maradona leading the ‘Albiceleste’ to the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa looked set to be the re-christening of Argentina as the world champions, sadly it wasn’t to be in what was a tepid showing from the two-time world champions. Still, Adidas didn’t disappoint in producing in our opinion, the best Argentina shirt since the 2002-04 offering. With the dusky, sky blue used as the back drop; for a white crew neck collar and white strips to create a modern masterpiece; truly befitting of the star-studded squad that represented Argentina at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The notable players that season(s) were:
Lionel Messi, Martin Palermo, Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez, Diego Milito, Gonzalo Higuain, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Angel di Maria, Juan Sebastian Veron, Javier Pastore, Ever Banega, Javier Zanetti, Jonas Gutierrez, Esteban Cambiasso, Lucas Biglia, Javier Mascherano, Martin Demichelis, Walter Samuel, Gabriel Heinze, Nicolas Otamendi, Pablo Zabaletta, Marcos Rojo, Sergio Romero
