2007-08 Manchester United Away Shirt Size Medium
Team: Manchester United
Era: 2007-08 (Used for 2007-08 Barclays Premier League season)
CONDITION: VERY GOOD
This model is almost perfect from the front; the AIG sponsor decal is immaculate as is the Nike swoosh and United club crest. The back however is a different story however, with numerous pulls being evident, and most notably the red decal is beginning to come away despite someone’s best effort at reattaching it.
Pit to Pit Measurement: 20 inches
Shirt Length: 28 inches
The sizing lends itself to a classic medium fit, being made in the ‘NikeFit’ mould between 2007-09; the shirt is more of a relaxed fit than the later ‘Dri-Fit’ models.
For the first time since the 2004-05 season was a black away strip used as Manchester United’s away colours, and it was a truly glorious return to form from Nike! Using the same minimalist body as the home shirt; the black away model is wonderfully complimented by red accents on the sleeves, arm panels and back; the sum of which is one of United’s finest away shirts.
The notable players that season were:
Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlos Tevez, Wayne Rooney, Louis Saha, Nani, Owen Hargreaves, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Michael Carrick, Park Ji-Sung, Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand, Mikael Silvestre, Wes Brown, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Edwin van der Sar
