2005-06 Olympique de Marseille Home Shirt Size Large
Team: Olympique de Marseille (Marseille)
Era: 2005-06 (Used for the 2005-06 Ligue 1 season, the 2006 Coupe de France Final, and the 2005 UEFA Intertoto Cup final)
CONDITION: VERY GOOD
This shirt remains in very good condition despite its years, naturally however, the material does bear signs of wear, and some of the edges of the sponsor are beginning to peel slightly from the corners. With that being said however, the printed ‘3-stripes’ down the sleeves are in excellent condition, as are the Adidas and ‘OM’ crest embroidery.
Pit to Pit Measurement: 21.5 inches
Shirt Length: 30.5 inches
Made in the mould of the 2005-06 Adidas ‘ClimaCool’ range; this shirt is naturally baggier than those made today, and the dimensions suggest it could fit a regular wearer of XL today.
Carrying on from the implementation from the previous season; Adidas would continue to utilise the blue cross to decorate the home jersey of Olympique De Marseille. Thinning out the blue stripes from the previous season, black trims were introduced to devastating effect, while retaining the v-neck collar from the previous offering.
The notable players that season were:
Mickael Pagis, Mamadou Niang, Franck Ribery, Samir Nasri, Lorik Cana, Delfim, Sabri Lamouchi, Renato Civelli, Medhi Benatia, Jerome Bonnisel, Frederic Dehu, Taye Taiwo, Andre Luis, Cedric Carrasso, Fabian Barthez
