DESCRIPTION:

Chelsea came into their centenary season as the defending champions of England, and Umbro, in their final stand as ‘the Blues’ kit supplier, honoured the 100^th year of the club’s existence with their home shirt for the 2005/06 season. For the first time since the 1997-1999 home shirt, Umbro employed yellow accents; this shirt being exceptional in that it is entirely blue and yellow, neglecting the usual white accompaniment. In another piece of trivia, this is also the first Chelsea strip to have featured the new club crest and the Samsung Mobile sponsorship.
