2005-06 Barcelona Away Shirt Size Small
Era: 2005-06 (Used for the 2005-06 La Liga season, and as the 3rd shirt for the 2006-07 season)
CONDITION: VERY GOOD
This article remains in very good condition, however, there are some inevitable signs of wear and also some bobbling, and most notably, the elastic has begun to detach from the collar on the right hand side. The crest and Nike swoosh meanwhile, are in tremendous condition.
Pit to Pit Measurement: 19.5 inches
Shirt Length: 28 inches
Made during Nike’s Total 90 campaign for the 2005-06 season; this shirt is baggier than today’s fit, and, therefore, I would suggest the dimensions are better suited to someone to would normally wear a size medium today, unless you prefer a baggier small.
While the home shirt was as ‘blaugrana’ as it could get; the away shirt was a step into the future so to speak, as Nike unearthed a neon yellow away shirt for the defending La Liga champions! Of course, the shirt would pay homage to the club’s home colours in the form of the blue and red motifs on the arms, and while the shirt may have not been the easiest on the eye, it will always be synonymous with the club winning the UEFA Champions League in 2006, as this shirt was worn all of their 6 away matches, including the victories against: Werder Bremen, Udinese, Chelsea, and AC Milan! 12 months later, the shirt would be reprised against Liverpool at Anfield for the 2nd Leg of their Last 16 UEFA Champions League clash.
