Made in the 2003-05 style of Reebok shirts, the dimensions do suggest that this shirt would fit a size XL by today’s standards.
Reebok continued their tradition of every second year to equip Liverpool with a white away strip, and this offering may go down as the best of the bunch during Reebok’s 10 year association with the club. Using a white, hoop-neck template; black and red accents were implemented across the front of the shoulders and down the side panels, with pin stripe’s embossed into the body of the shirt. Furthermore, the green Carlsberg sponsor also adds another layer of depth to what is one of the most underrated shirts in the Liverpool pantheon.
The notable players that season were:
Michael Owen, El Hadji Diouf, Milan Baros, Emile Heskey, Harry Kewell, Vladimir Smicer, Danny Murphy, Steven Gerrard, Igor Biscan, Salif Diao, Dietmar Hamann, John Arne Riise, Stephane Henchoz, Sami Hyypia, Jamie Carragher, Steve Finnan, Jerzy Dudek
