THE VITALS:

Team: Manchester United

Brand: Nike

Era: 2002-03 (Used for the 2002-03 Barclaycard Premiership season)

Name/Number: -

CONDITION: VERY GOOD

This article remains in very good condition, with the material and mesh netting showing little signs of wear, while the club crest and Nike swoosh are in excellent condition. The only drawback however is in the form of the sponsor, where the Vodafone logo is starting to fray at the edge.

DIMENSIONS:

Size: Medium

Pit to Pit Measurement: 21 inches

Shirt Length: 30 inches

Made in the vein of all Nike shirts during 2002-03 era, this shirt is quite baggy and thus I would also suggest that this shirt easily fit a size large.

DESCRIPTION:

The 2002-03 season began Manchester United's 13 year association with Nike, and they came out swinging with this classic blue and grey offering! While Umbro employed navy versions of Manchester United’s alternate kits in the early part of the decade; this effort used more of a royal blue shade. Moreover, this strip will be most fondly remembered as Manchester United and Arsenal battled to an exhilarating 2-2 draw at Highbury, at what was the peak of the ‘Fergie vs Wenger’ rivalry.

The notable players that season were:

Ruud van Nistelrooy, Diego Forlan, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Juan Sebastian Veron, David Beckham, Roy Keane, Nicky Butt, Phil Neville, Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand, Laurent Blanc, Mikael Silvestre, Wes Brown, Fabian Barthez, Roy Carroll
