DESCRIPTION:
While Bayern Munich’s 2002-03 domestic home shirt was a mirror of the 2001-02 iteration, just with the T-Mobile sponsor replacing Opel across the chest; a brand new strip was conceived by Adidas for Bayern’s European foray! Made in all red; just as their previous European attire was, however unlike the red ensemble that led ‘FC Hollywood’ to European glory in 2001, and to the semi final in 2002; this wonderful ensemble would be synonymous with Bayern’s disastrous group stage exit in the 2002-03 season. Thankfully, the shirt remains more memorable than that tournament exit, and is now a must have in any Bayern Munich fans repertoire of legendary ‘Die Rotten’ shirts!
