2011-12 Barcelona Home Shirt Size Small - Fabregas #4
Era: 2011-2012 (Used for the 2011-12 La Liga season, 2011 UEFA Super Cup match, 2011 Supercopa de Espana, 2011 FIFA Club World Cup final, and the 2012 Copa del Rey final)
Name/Number: Fabregas #4
CONDITION: VERY GOOD
I would say that this shirt is in good condition, as is the crest, name and numbering, LFP emblem and main sponsorship is in very good nick. The 'Unicef' sponsorship on the back is starting to wear badly, sadly and the shirt does have the clicks and sign of wear that you would expect from a product that is now over half a decade old.
Pit to Pit Measurement: 19 inches
Shirt Length: 27 inches
This shirt is made in the Nike Dri Fit style and is designed to be quite fitted and thus is will fit a small adult perfectly and could possibly compensate for an XS Adult or XL Youth.
The 2011-12 shirt represented a leftfield choice with the jagged striped design. This was also the first shirt to be adorned with the Qatar Foundation sponsorship, with Unicef finding its place at the back of the shirt, after 4 seasons as Barcelona’s primary sponsor. After the previous season lent more weight to the red element of the Barca ensemble; the 2011-12 strip was 80/20 in favour of the blue element, with red used simply for the stripes. This shirt would also be the last to be associated with the Pep Guardiola era, and was also worn in the victory at the Santiago Bernabeu in the league, while also featuring in Europe during the quarter final elimination of AC Milan, and lastly, in the 2012 Copa del Rey triumph against Athletic Bilbao.
The notable players that season were:
