Manchester City

  • £49.99

THE VITALS:

Team: Manchester City

Brand: Nike

Era: 2017-18 (Used for the 2017-18 Premier League season, and for the 2018 Carabao Cup Final)

Name/Number: Toure Yaya #42

CONDITION: VERY GOOD

I would’ve said that this shirt is in excellent condition, however there are some visible pulls and clicks that cannot be ignored. The vinyl sponsorships, name and numbering, Nike swoosh, Premier League crest, and club crests however are nothing shy of immaculate

DIMENSIONS:

Size: Medium

Pit to Pit Measurement: 20 inches

Shirt Length: 28 inches

Sizing wise, this shirt fits as you would expect a Nike ‘Dri-Fit’ medium to do so; comfortable yet fitted! Check the dimensions accordingly however, as this would also double up as a fine fit for someone who wears a size small and appreciates a looser fit.

DESCRIPTION:

With Nike ditching the 2-tone template for 2016-17, they went back to basics with Manchester City’s home strip for the 2017-18 season; a simple, yet classy sky-blue and white effort that laid the foundations for one of the greatest season’s in the history of the club. As early as September 2017, it became apparent that ‘the Cityzens’ would become the Premier League champions for the 2017-18 season, and by the end of the year, the idea of Pep Guardiola’s side scooping every trophy in sight was not so farfetched! In the end, City would settle for the Premier League and Carabao Cup in a repeat of the double they completed in the 2013-14 season, as they smashed nearly every record in Premier League history. This is also the first City shirt to bear the Nexen Tire sponsorship on the sleeve.

The notable players that season were:

Sergio Aguero, Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sane, David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Ilkay Gundogan, Yaya Toure, Phil Foden, Fabian Delph, Fernandinho, Vincent Kompany, Nicolas Otamendi, Aymeric Laporte, Elaquim Mangala, John Stones, Danilo, Benjamin Mendy, Ederson, Claudio Bravo
