DESCRIPTION:

After winning 3 of their last 5 tournaments; Spain would look to do the unthinkable in Brazil ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. While it wasn’t to be in a shocking group stage exit from the competition, this fine black and neon special away kit would be used in Spain’s 3-0 win over Australia, where icons of the golden era: Fernando Torres and David Villa both got on the score sheet! The competition would be the final time we would see Xavi, Xabi Alonso, Fernando Torres feature for the national side, while David Villa also called time on his international career following that competion. This shirt was amongst a series of experimental shirts made by Adidas ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, however the Spain away shirt may have been the best of the bunch! Made with black and volt green accents; this shirt could possibly go down as Spain’s best ever away shirt!
