Name/Number: -

CONDITION: GOOD

This shirt has seen better days sadly, with some heavy staining bearing on the underarms and the body, and also the Puma decal is also beginning to fade. With that said, the shirt is more than presentable, and can be retained in ones collection, or used for wear.

DIMENSIONS:

Size: Small

Pit to Pit Measurement: 19 inches

Shirt Length: 26 inches

This shirt is on the smaller side of the size small spectrum and does present a very tight fit. Please also be mindful that this shirt is very dense in material, and is not conventionally stretchable like your usual football shirt.

DESCRIPTION:

Just over 12 months after their Euro 2004 kits were released; Puma and Italy debuted their collaboration with Neil Barret ahead of their November 12th 2005 friendly away to Netherlands, where the ‘Azzurri’ claimed a 3-1 win over ‘La Oranje’ in Amsterdam. 8 months later, the national side would claim the 2006 FIFA World Cup as they defeated France in the final in Germany! Synonymous with that legendary triumph that summer; this shirt is beautifully complimented with gold Puma logos, an almost ominous touch! Moreover, Puma went with an interesting firm material, which feels almost cardboard in texture, yet adds a fine aesthetic to the shirt.

The notable players that season(s) were:

Filippo Inzaghi, Vincenzo Iaquinta, Antonio Cassano, Luca Toni, Alberto Gilardino, Alessandro Del Piero, Francesco Totti, Antonio Di Natale, Fabio Quagliarella, Mauro Camoranesi, Daniele de Rossi, Gennaro Gattuso, Andrea Pirlo, Fabio Grosso, Alessandro Nesta, Massimo Oddo, Gianluca Zambrotta, Fabio Cannavaro, Andrea Barzagli, Marco Materazzi, Gianluigi Buffon, Angelo Peruzzi
