DESCRIPTION:
Taking the reins from Kappa; Puma took over the kit supply for Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the 2006-07 season, and they went about crafting a fine shirt in the same mould which Italy became world champions that same summer in. The shirt also ushered in the era of the new crest, as well as Mansion as their sponsor; taking over from Thompson. As per the Puma template from 2006, the shirts utilised a unique material that crossed the border of both density, and flexibility; creating a feeling like no other on the market at the time.
The notable players that season were:
Robbie Keane, Dimitar Berbatov, Jermain Defoe, Mido, Danny Murphy, Jermaine Jenas, Aaron Lennon, Steed Malbranque, Didier Zokora, Tom Huddlestone, Edgar Davids, Michael Dawson, Ledley King, Pascal Chimbonda, Lee Young-Pyo, Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Paul Robinson
