DESCRIPTION:

In the first of a three-season relationship between Under Armour and Sao Paolo; they would dress the 2014 Campeonato Brasileiro runners-up in a classic shirt! Staying true to the white, red and black ‘Tricolor’, this shirt marries the excellent cut and fit that is synonymous with the Under Armour brand and the majesty that is the shirt of Sao Paolo; huge club crest in the middle, sat within the red, white and black is as standard, however, unlike the previous season’s shirt made by Penalty, this shirt utilises red trims on both the sleeve and collar to create a wonderful shirt for the Brazilian giants. Please be aware that the Under Armour logo is vinyl, and this edition is without any of the sponsors.

THE SEASON:

A 2nd place finish in the 2014 Campeonato Brasileiro marked a huge improvement in form, following their disappointing 9th place finish in 2013. They would have to tackle the 2015 Serie A however, without players such as: Kaka, Osvaldo, Alvaro Pereira, Denilson, Souza, Antonio Carlos and others as they all departed the club. Still, amongst the ranks would remain mainstays such as: Rogerio Ceni, Rodrigo Caio, Michel Bastos, Luis Fabiano, Ganso, Pato, Alan Kardec and Ricardo Centurion. A strong start after 7 league games would see ‘O Clube da Fe’ go top, they would be painfully inconsistent, going through 5 coaches before eventually finishing in 4th place at the season’s climax, as well as reaching the semi-final of the Copa do Brasil.

The notable players that season were:

Ricardo Centurion, Rogerio, Alan Kardec, Wilder Guisao, Pato, Ganso, Luis Fabiano, Michel Bastos, Ganso, Wesley, Thiago Mendes, Hudson, Lyanco, Breno, Lucao, Auro, Bruno, Edson Silva, Reinaldo, Carlinhos, Matheus Reis, Rodrigo Caio, Rogerio Ceni, Renan Ribeiro
