Walter Mazzarri’s swansong as Napoli head coach ended with the club finishing in 2^nd place! Sadly for ‘I Partenopei’, the mega bucks of Paris Saint Germain came calling, and their talisman forward: Edinson Cavani would also leave the club in the close season. The replacements would be of similar ilk however, as Rafa Benitez arrived in the managerial hot seat, and Gonzalo Higuain was sourced from Real Madrid to lead the line! The Spaniard’s first season in charge would see them finish in a more than respectable 3^rd place, and also reclaim the Coppa Italia title!
