2011-12 England Away Shirt Size 40
Era: 2011-12 (Used throughout the 2012 UEFA European Championship qualifying campaign, and the 2012 UEFA European Championships)
I would say that the shirt is in good condition, however upon seeing the shirt you can see that it has been worn a few times. Nevertheless, it would make the perfect foil to play in or to keep as a collector’s item if you're a fan of the 3 Lions.
Pit to Pit Measurement: 20 inches
Shirt Length: 30.5 inches
This shirt is made in the 'Tailored in England' style of Umbro shirt which began from around 2010, and I guess was designed to have a minimalist design and to even be an auxiliary polo shirt. You will find that these shirts are quite baggy and would be most suited for a size large or XL.
Umbro's latter stages of their association with England saw a new shirt made every 12 months or so and this navy and sky blue jersey represented a change in norm, from the classic red that England had traditionally used as their away strip. To promote the release of this new shirt in 2011, David Haye proudly wore the shirt en route to the ring, during his world title showdown with Wladimir Klitschko in Germany on July 2nd 2011. This was also the shirt that England wore when they came from 2-1 down to see off Sweden in Kiev, in arguably their most impressive performance of the tournament.
