DESCRIPTION:

Although introduced as the club’s 3^rd shirt ahead of the 1996-97 season; this blue attire would be used more prominently during the 1997-98 season, as United battled away against: Feyenoord, Arsenal and AS Monaco! Unlike the away kits that had: ‘Sharp Viewcam’ emblazoned; this classic blue shirt retained simply: ‘Sharp’ as the sponsor! Moreover, the Umbro and Sharp text are embossed into the material of the shirt, rather than as external applications.
