Made in the Nike ‘DriFit’ style of 2012-13; the American sports giants were still trying to get the right balance on the ‘Dri-Fit’ style fitting, so this shirt offers a little more room than the more modern day ‘Dri-Fit’ offerings, and thus, if you normally wear a size large and like a tighter fit; this shirt may be perfect for you.

DESCRIPTION:

Nike have never shied from producing left-field away strips for Barcelona, and after the previous season’s critically acclaimed black away kit; Nike came out with what I coined the ‘Banana and Orange’ strip ahead of the 2012-13 season! A striking rendition that utilises a dip-dye effect; starting (from the top down) in orange before rendering into yellow half way down, and with the addition of yellow shorts and socks, making for an instantly memorable, if not ‘marmite’ ensemble! Hyperbole aside, the bright colours are brilliantly complemented by print on the sponsor, name and numbering, and Nike swoosh, while paying home to Barca’s ‘Blaugrana’ roots with the respect colours used as a trim along the side panel.
