This shirt remains in very good condition, especially with respect to the club crest, Adidas embroidery, and the felt sponsor. There is sadly some light staining and small signs of wear to the shirt that prevent this shirt from being labelled as excellent.

Made in the 2008-09 series of the Adidas ‘ClimaCool’ range; this shirt could easily fit a size large, such were the dimensions of the Adidas shirts made during that season.

DESCRIPTION:

Adidas’ 2008-09 Marseille home shirt in my opinion, remains one of the finest shirts created during that era! A truly classy, and beautiful creation; Adidas used just enough cerulean in the Adidas 3 stripes, Adidas embroidery, and club crest to supplement the almost glistening shade of white, in addition, the city of Marseille’ coat of arms has been added; altogether creating a majestic football shirt. ‘OM’ would improve on the previous seasons’ 3^rd place finish but would have to disappointingly settle for 2^nd place as they finished just 3 points behind Bordeaux. The club would also reach the quarter final of the last ever UEFA Cup, losing out to eventual winners of the title: Shakhtar Donetsk in Eric Gerets’ final stand as the club’s coach.
