Made in the Nike ‘NikeFit’ style that was introduced ahead of the 2007-08 season, as this shirt is an excellent size small fitting shirt, especially if you prefer a snug fitting jersey.

DESCRIPTION:

After a brilliant 2006-07 season; questions would be raised as to how the club would react to the sale of their talisman: Fernando Torres. The club would act swiftly by signing: Diego Forlan, Luis Garcia, Jose Antonio Reyes, Simao and Thiago Motta; and the new acquisitions would help the club finish in 4^th place! The club’s return to Europe would not be as successful however, as they fell at the hands of Bolton Wanderers in the round of 32 in the UEFA Cup. The season would also see the club defeat Sevilla, both home and away, and most impressively: Barcelona by 4-2 at the Vicente Calderon! Nike would learn from the commercial disaster that was the ‘half and half’ shirt from the previous season that was axed; for the new season, they would bring the v-neck collar back, while red was the main colour of the shirt. The addition of the blue collar and the sleeve trim create a truly fine jersey.
