Made using Umbro’s mould in the mid-late 2000’s; this shirt provides a baggier fit than usual from Umbro, but nevertheless, still provides excellent dimensions for a size large football shirt.
DESCRIPTION:
A fine football shirt that was sadly synonymous with the lowest point of England’s recent history, as they failed to qualify for Euro 2008 under Steve McLaren’s stewardship. That disappointment, however, would soon give way to a new wave of optimism under Fabio Capello as they cakewalked to the World Cup in South Africa, gaining sweet revenge over Croatia in the process. This shirt goes under the radar as far as the UmbroXEngland pantheon is concerned, however it is a fine football shirt; in fact, it is first England shirt to utilise a v-neck since the 2001-03 effort. Another fine caveat is the subtle implementing of the 3 Lions into accents on the side panels.
